Osseo Area Schools holds the 25th annual powwow

For more than 25 years, Osseo Area Schools has put on one of the largest education-based powwows in the state. With more than 500 Native American students and 90 tribes represented, the powwow brings more than 1,000 people together for a celebration of culture and history.

Investment in Youth award recipients

District 279 Foundation's Investment in Youth celebration took place on Sunday, May 1. The event recognizes the many achievements and success stories of the students, staff, and volunteers in Osseo Area Schools. The program will be replayed on CCX Media Channel 20 or Channel 859 through Comcast Cable.

New transportation opt-in procedure

On Tuesday, April 26, Osseo Area Schools sent an email to transportation eligible families detailing a new process that will require parents/caregivers of transportation eligible students to declare how their student will be getting to and from school. At least 5000 responses have been received. If you have not had time to respond, please use the attached QR code to access the form or visit district279.org/transportation for information regarding this process.

March Vaccine Clinic for K-12 Families

Osseo Area Schools will be holding a walk-in only vaccine clinic for students (ages 5+) and parents/guardians. Pfizer and Moderna vaccines/boosters will be available at Crest View Elementary School.
